Energy Medicine for Toothache

Just as parts of your body are believed to be associated with or governed by specific acupuncture meridians, so too are each of the teeth believed to be governed by specific meridians. One of the most effective Energy Medicine techniques for dealing with energy imbalances thought to be associated with pain is to sedate the acupuncture meridian that ostensibly governs the tooth that hurts.

Rather than looking at a dental chart in a book, identifying the problem tooth, figuring out which meridian it is associated with, and then applying the Energy Medicine technique of sedating that meridian, all you have to do is identify which tooth in this figure corresponds to the tooth that’s bothering you, click on it with your mouse, and then view the instructions contained in the video for sedating the meridian that is associated with that tooth.

What could be simpler?

Hi Ron,
What about when people have had tooth extractions….how do the teeth line up with the meridian chart?

That’s a great question, Melanie.

The relationship between the teeth and the meridians is not through the teeth themselves but through the location of the teeth on the jaw (for the lower teeth) and the upper palette (for the upper teeth).

So, in the case of a tooth that is no longer there, you would count the space where the tooth used to be as though it was the tooth.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the great question!

If there is no space where a tooth used to be…how do you count the teeth. If you count teeth from the back (or the front for that matter) do you just count for what is currently there and not worry about how many teeth used to be there?

This is fantastic Ron….

If it’s not obvious where a missing tooth used to be, you may have to experiment with which meridian to sedate.

The good news is that, if you don’t sedate the right meridian for that tooth that’s hurting, it’s not going to hurt you. If you don’t notice any change in the pain, try sedating the meridian for the next tooth.

In general, it’s probably a good idea to sedate Triple Warmer no matter what. If you’re in pain, no doubt Triple Warmer is in a full-on stress response, so sedating it along with the meridian that corresponds to the painful tooth can be doubly effective.

Of course, if the painful tooth is governed by Triple Warmer then you’re addressing the painful tooth and the stress the pain is causing the sedating it.

Thanks for you great comments! I’m glad you’re enjoying the content!
